Scottie Scheffler will have eyes on the only guy who stands between him and $25 million all day on Sunday as Scheffler tries for his first FedEx Cup victory. Scheffler leads Collin Morikawa by five entering the final round of the 2024 Tour Championship, and he’s ahead of everyone else in the field by at least nine shots going as the PGA Tour season wraps up at East Lake Golf Club.
For the third consecutive day, Scheffler and Morikawa will tee it up together as they have combined to shoot 27 under so far this week at a newly renovated course. Though they are the only duo that has a realistic chance of winning the event, they aren’t the only interesting pairing in the final round.
Ludvig Ã…berg and Rory McIlroy are paired together again after playing as a duo in Round 1 on Thursday. They will tee off at 12:05 p.m. ET. Wyndham Clark and Adam Scott have the third to last tee time, and Sahith Theegala and Xander Schauffele will be in the penultimate pairing at 12:54 p.m.Â
Even though the $25 million first prize out of the $100 million FedEx Cup fund is likely covered by the top duo, the other top players will play for $12.5 million, which goes to second, and $7.5 million, which will go to third.
